What is Organic Living? Ask people this question and you'll get multiple and very different answers. For most people, they think -- natural -- and for someone with an organic chemistry background, it means "carbon-based".As it turns out, all of us live in a carbon-based world -- we (and most things in the natural world) are made up of mostly carbon atoms.
How does this have anything to do with living an organic lifestyle, you ask? There are natural, carbon-based things and there are non (or synthetic) carbon-based things. Well, even 250 years ago, we did not have all of the man-made, synthetic substances that exist today. Sadly, very little thought was given to human safety & health ramifications and impact on the earth's environment by creating all of these synthetic products.
In response to this "chemically processed, heavily ladened with pesticides and exposure to polluted air" era, is a group choosing to avoid a life filled with these things. The organic movement has been going on for over a century.
What you choose to eat, put on your skin and expose your body to, can greatly affect the quality of life you live.
Fron our standpoint, the best things in life are organic. From the garden you grow, to the fashion you wear, to the products you place in your home.
You may be saying to yourself, "but I am not a gardener." That is okay -- there are plenty of other ways to live organically.
Throughout this site, we find and bring you tools to help you live your fullest, organic life.
