This extremely effective, portable air cleaner is ideal for use in basements,
offices, school classrooms or any room after a renovation. Removes a wide
variety of contaminants, including dust, pollens, dander, odors, chemical vapors
and then some. The Austin Air Health Mate Plus can clean air in a 3000 square
foot space. It is a great house filter. If you have two floors, it is recommended to
have one on each floor or add a baby's breath air purifier to children's rooms. The
Plus style has added benefits to clean air of additional formaldehyde and phenols.
Pre-filters are washable or can be vacuumed. HEPA filters have a 5 yr pro-rated
manufacturer’s warranty. The Healthmate Plus is the same as the Healthmate
except it also has potassium iodide to remove formaldehyde – for chemically
sensitive people. The Healthmate Plus employs true HEPA filter technology and
offers control of chemical gases such as formaldehyde and ammonia. An
excellent choice for areas with new carpeting, new furniture or offices with printing
operations or other chemical generating activities
